Victory World Missions is fully committed to the Great Commission. We understand that when Jesus spoke this that it was not an after thought, but it was His final thought.
Our thrust is with a three pronged approach. In traveling to over 50 nations, our President, Dr. Robert W. Carman along with his wife Ginger, have seen this approach work time and time again. Our hearts are not to simply say we are doing something overseas but to influence culture. So, with this understanding, we are committed to the following.
First, to train the national pastor, the pastor holds the key to a culture. It is not our intent to send people to those nations, but to find those that are in those nations that have been there for a long time with a proven track record, and come along side to help train their pastors and church leaders. Second, to help build Bible schools, from good Bible schools we know that countless churches can and will be established in the nations. So with this understanding, Victory World Missions is either involved in physically building the schools or we come in throughout the year to help train the students. We bring pastors from our Network, provide training material, and as relationships are developed in these countries we have and will send building teams and financially support the schools as the resources are provided.
The third area is building churches; nothing speaks louder to a village than a permanent church building. It tells the community that Christianity is here to stay. We go about this many ways. We challenge people in our churches to sponsor a church; we call it a "Living Memorial". Building a church in honor of a loved one is a wonderful way to show that there is a living record of that person. We encourage them to provide a plaque to be placed in the church so all will know who it was built for.
Victory World Missions also facilitates many other areas of world missions such as literature distribution, sending church teams on short term trips, digging water wells and providing medical help whenever we can.
